Not sure about this...

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I love Indian curries, and I love vegan jerky, but somehow this flavor didn't quite click for me. It wasn't terrible - just a bit odd, maybe because I really don't expect the flavor palette of butter chicken (or paneer - which is what I'd get) with the chewiness or a jerky?

Not enough flavor

I really wanted to like this flavor. Sadly it is underwhelming. The flavor is just not there. You would expect butter chicken to have more depth and flavor.

The flavor is mid, but it does taste like butter chicken a bit

Love the flavor

Not sure where the hate is coming from on this flavor, but it is the perfect amount of buttery curry favor, without being too over powering, I love it! Definitely in my top 3 favs!

Doesn't taste like Indian butter chicken

I said that I might order this in my last review that I did last month & I decided to give it a try. It has a butter taste to it(which I didn't care for) & it doesn't taste like Indian butter chicken to me(missing some spices flavor). The 2 reviews that I read prior to leaving my 1st review last month were right about it not giving Indian flavors & being sweeter than butter chicken should be.

This was not as flavorful as I had expected. I would not buy it again.

Decent, subtle sweet butter chicken flavor

bit more sweet than I expected but definitely a bit of a butter chicken. flavor to it.

Not Sure If I'll Get This

Based on the 2 reviews that I saw, it seems like this Butter Chicken flavor jerky is really not giving butter chicken or even Indian flavors/seasonings, so I'm not sure if I'll get this. One review even said it's too sweet, which is opposite of most of their jerky, which are usually too salty. I might try it out to see for myself how it tastes. I'll leave another review if I buy it(hopefully it'll not be too sweet or salty, but it might be & I won't like it, lol).

Too sweet! Not much butter chicken going on

Not bad! Definitely too sweet, was shocked by how sweet it was. Had a hard time finding the indian flavors in there. Would love this if the recipe was tweaked some.

Mild flavor… Not what I was expecting

Don't get me wrong, it's good – tender with a nice mild flavor, but it's definitely not what I was expecting or hoping for when it comes to "Indian" flavors. Guess there's a reason why Butter Chicken is considered the gateway dish to Indian food. Would love to have a more rich curry flavor option.

Unique!

I would describe the taste as warm and aromatic. I always looked longingly at my husband’s butter chicken wishing that I could try a vegetarian version, so this satisfies that itch!
