It's definitely a bourbon BBQ flavor, and it is good as a snack. I'm not a BBQ expert, so I wouldn't know how to distinguish Bourbon BBQ from Carolina BBQ, but I'll take their word for it!
One of my favorites! Flavors great, and I keep these in my car. I drive a lot and having then when I can't stop for lunch or just a snack is tasty and convenient!

Dried out, not the same texture as when I get them at whole foods. The Mandarin Chicken is supposed to be 'sticky', but it was just a single dried out congealed lump in the bag. I don't know whether the heat affected this order in transit. I tried twice to reach out to the company, but have not received a response yet. I don't think they check their support email address

Texture is wonderful, bourbon barbecue is a little on the sweet side, the nachos and jalapeño cheddar were a bit too salty, and the hamburger one was decent.
I’m not sure if I would order any of these flavors again, though. The black pepper is still one of my favorites, so is Carolina barbecue, and maple bacon. Even though I wasn’t too impressed with these new flavors, I tried, Louisville jerky is still my second favorite brand of jerky.
Honestly blown away by how good this is! Tastes so much like the meat based version. Will definitely be a repeat customer.
Addictive flavor! Really delicious!
This flavors one of my favorites. Not overly spicy or vinegar tasting. The texture was perfect. I just wish the pieces in the package were bigger and not little crumbs.
Tasty, although having to refrigerate after opening is kind of inconvenient.
