Smoky Carolina BBQ

This is one of two that I’ve tried so far. It’s sweet, tangy, and most importantly, soft lol. Definitely my favorite vegan jerky company. I also got my wife into it and she stays away from vegan foods

I thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail this year, and as a vegetarian, it's not always easy to find the snacks you really crave. I discovered the Smoky Carolina BBQ on trail and absolutely fell in love with those tender, moist cuts of tangy soy goodness. Lightweight, delicious, sodium .. it was the perfect addition to my food bag. I genuinely used the "Find Us" tool on the website to track this specific flavor down in towns like Bend, OR and Snoqualmie, WA. Thank you, Louisville Vegan Jerky Co!

Taste just like the Carolina gold I remember

I'm not really able to tell you what distinguishes the various types of BBQ, but I liked both the Carolina and the Bourbon; they're a bit different, but I'm not exactly sure what makes them different. If you like BBQ, then you'll probably like both of them. .I certainly did, and the true jerky texture works well with both of them.

Smoky Carolina is my daughter's favorite. Think tangy BBQ! I love the taste and texture of all the jerky and can't stop eating it!

This is one of my faves! So full of flavor and has a great tanginess which sets it apart from other snacks that have a more generic BBQ taste.

The BEST jerky! I've tried this flavor, the Jamaican Jerk and the Cajun Chicken. My daughter tried the Orange Chicken and my husband tried Black Pepper. No bad flavors. We all give it a 5/5 review.

This used to be one of my favorites a long time ago(about 8 yrs or so), but I haven't had it recently. I got tired of the too much mustard flavor & wanted a more sweet hickory bbq flavor. They have a new Bourbon BBQ flavor now which gives that sweeter bbq flavor that I was looking for, but I don't like the bourbon taste in it because I don't drink or like the taste of alcohol/liquor.

I do like this flavor but think it needs something. Make be some heat and more of a smoke flavor. So glad we came across this brand. Most flavors are really good.

I honestly forgot that Carolina BBQ was mustard based (vegetarian for 29 years). I LOVED it as a change-up, and my wife (who still eats meat occasionally) also loved it.

The Smoky Carolina BBQ is, by far, my favorite. I have given this one to several of my meat eating friends to try and they all love it. A few have even said that it is the best jerky they have ever had. I wholeheartedly agree. Please don't ever stop making this one.

My son absolutely loves this one, great flavor, just the right amount of kick.

It is so nice to finally find a vegan snack that tastes exactly as the company claims it does. It's great, as a vegetarian of two decades, to enjoy this savory, smoky flavor again.

I love all of the Louisville vegan jerky flavors, but Carolina BBQ is one of my top favorites. The authentic Carolina BBQ flavor shines through in every bite!

This was my go to. I even had a subscription (that I just canceled). I am not sure if there was a recipe change when they changed the packaging or if there is a quality control consistency issue, but the new batch is different and it is barely edible. It's honestly gross, but I don't want to waste the food and the money, especially with how expensive this stuff is so I will eat it. Guess I will go back to the pepper and hope y'all didn't change that one for the worse. That had new packaging too, so I am not super hopeful.

I really wanted to love this one! I like mustard but it’s a bit too much for me. I would still eat it though so that says everything. Still good!

I get this one as a classic BBQ jerky. I actually like this one more than the Bourbon BBQ!

I really appreciate the creativity that goes into Louisville Jerky’s flavors, but this the only flavor that exists for me. It is my ride or die. They captured the tang of Carolina BBQ perfectly.

I don't know how if it's healthy and don't care! It's delicious and vegan!!! I'm taking g a few bags of this jerky on a trip along with nuts and dried fruit. I ordered other flavors too, but haven't tried them yet.

Perfect flavor (if you like mustard) with a nice balance of smoky and sweet. This one has a bit of chewiness and is more saucy (versus kind of a dry rub taste) which I like a lot.
